How do I avoid security risks or misunderstandings during a session? How does consent work? You are enthusiastic beginners or even just interested in the subject of bondage? You want to learn to tie? This introductory evening is our offer to You to get an overview of Japanese-inspired Bondage (Kinbaku) in an open, relaxed and safe atmosphere. Learn the first techniques and get answers to your questions.

Who is it for?

The introductory evening is for all people who are interested in Bondage / Shibari / Kinbaku and want to learn more about how to get started. The introductory evening is not a full workshop where complex patterns or figures are shown.

At this Introductory Evening you will:

  • hear exciting stories about the origin and evolution of Japanese bondage art
  • get important forst hand information for the safe bondage
  • learn how to negotiate consent well and effectively, so that both partners have a good time together in bondage
  • learn how to connect with your partner via the rope
  • learn a first simple technique of tying both hands – and how to use it immediately in the play
  • get your questions answered
  • get to know other rope enthusiasts

Formalities

  • Format: about 3 hrs full of information and practice about the Japanese bondage art of Kinbaku
  • Tea, coffee and cold drinks are provided
  • Where: Studio 6×6, Berlin Moabit
  • Language: English / German

I am a total beginner in the rope. Is the introductory evening suitable for me?

Absolute! The offer is made exactly for you.

I do not have a partner. Can I still participate?

Yes, on this introductory evening you can also participate without a partner. If necessary, you can “partner” with other participants for the practical part or practice techniques on yourself.

I would like to go “in the rope”, but have no interest to learn to tie myself. Is the evening suitable for me?

Absolute. You will get valuable information on how to deal safely with risks and how to communicate your wishes and limits well. You can individually discuss all your questions and topics with Natasha.

Is switching allowed?

Yes, switching is allowed.

I learned a variation on the Z technique at the XY Festival, but I’ve forgotten how it works. Can I refresh this?

No, unfortunately that will not be possible.
