Kinbaku Live Shows & Shibari Performances

To see the person in ropes, one must look at them.

Ichi-go Ichi-e: we value the unrepeatability of a moment in Kinbaku. Every moment is unique. Although the scene, the Shibari, the Bondage is an intimate exchange between two people, the audience—you—who take on the role of the often hidden observer, the voyeur, looking into an intimate moment, is an essential part of the scene and the target of our show.

There are so many moments to pause, to sit or stand still, and to look at the person in ropes.

It is about seeing them shivering, suffering. About tasting the small moments of anxiety, fear, or sweet anticipation.

These are the essentials of Kinbaku: the emotional exposure of the person being tied, and the delight the observer feels while watching. We invite the audience to witness an intimate play. You will witness us tying for real. There will be passion and emotion—and they will not leave you untouched.

There is no hurry, no rashness. The process of tying is slow. Rope by rope, the intensity grows. The pauses in between are when everything happens.

There are so many moments to look at them.
