FEEDBACK
I didn’t have much success learning Shibari in courses and workshops before I met Alexander and Natasha. At Discover Kinbaku, I’ve learned not only rope technique, but also how to genuinely look after the person I’m tying and about the true spirit of Kinbaku. Eternally grateful for their knowledge and teaching.

Rope bottoming can be a path of growing as a human in a deep way, if you open your heart to it. Natasha’s coaching has enriched my understanding of my own body, my inner world and my own processes, both in ropes and in life overall. I feel that Natasha genuinely cares about my progress as a rope bottom and I’m happy to be her student.

To speak about Discover Kinbaku, to speak about Natasha and Alexander, is to speak about more than teachers. They are mentors, companions, role models and, most importantly, a safe haven for those of us who have the privilege to learn from them.
It was under their guidance that I first stepped into this particular style of rope bondage. They showed me that it is not only about technique and knots, but about connection, vulnerability and the courage to embrace all facets of ourselves. They revealed the beauty in suffering and the deep truth that it is not only acceptable, but profoundly human, to find joy, meaning and intimacy in this ‘pervy’ side of ourselves.
Together, they taught my partner and me to discover our rhythm, our unique language in ropes. With patience and wisdom, they supported us in moments of struggle and doubt, helping us to see not only the difficulties but also the beauty in what we created together.
Their insight reaches beyond one side of the ropes. They embody and transmit an understanding of both perspectives: the one who ties and the one who surrenders. This depth has given me confidence, strength and trust, and it continues to shape the way I move, tie and connect.
What they have given us is more than knowledge. It is an invitation to growth, authenticity and shared creation. For this, I will always be grateful.

A beautiful and special place. The workshops at Discover Kinbaku are not shallow or chaotic fast food, but well thought out concepts with a learning theory behind them. They do not only cover knots and patterns, but also interpersonal dynamics, communication and the side of the rope bottoms. All in a respectful, welcoming and open atmosphere, and the team has a lot of valuable experience to share. I would love to attend more classes in the future!

We entered the world of Japanese bondage with Discover Kinbaku at Studio 6×6 a good year ago and have since attended many different workshops. We have done some from their standard curriculum, Earth, Water and others, which really build the couple up in their skills, but also in their understanding of Kinbaku in terms of history and culture in Japan and the Western context, the psychological aspects and the many opportunities for personal growth.
The ties and elements do not only increase in complexity, but also in intensity, and one’s repertoire on all levels increases continuously. From a very early stage, improvisation and tying with the energetic flow are encouraged. Teaching is concise and precise. The experience of the person in the rope is given as much importance as that of the person with the rope.
More than the classes, what became more important to us over the last year was the community that Natasha and Alexander built and keep building with their enthusiasm for what they are doing. They really inspire. They also bring inspiring teachers from other parts of the world to Berlin to teach and contribute to the Berlin Kinbaku scene, and beyond, as many participants travel quite far for these events.
All the events we have attended have been incredibly worthwhile, deep, dense and, we can only repeat ourselves, inspiring. Thank you so much, Natasha and Alexander. We’re looking forward to another colourful year at Studio 6×6.

In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, you get to improve your rope skills. The teaching is very well balanced between technique, feeling, body awareness, safety and playfulness. Lessons are well structured, and there is even a handout to remember key points and harnesses. To sum up, you’ll learn loads and have fun at the same time. Highly recommended.

A beautiful place and beautiful people. I have always had deep experiences with them, and the quality of the teaching is really high. What I experienced during the workshops and meetings there was not only technical teaching, but also the possibility to live my emotions and share them without feeling any kind of shame or judgement.
Highly recommended for every level. See you there!

I really enjoy their teaching style: inclusive, specific and practical, inviting reflection and willing to reflect and learn themselves, which makes for great teachers, great communication and a very warm and inviting atmosphere.
