I have spent many years developing my craft. What makes it meaningful to me is offering that expertise to others and holding a space where they can let go and have their own experience.

GUIDED EXPERIENCES
Discover Kinbaku for yourself
What does it feel like
to be safe to let go in ropes?
Perhaps you have seen Kinbaku or Shibari and wondered what it actually feels like. Perhaps you are drawn to its beauty and sensuality, curious about surrender or simply looking for an experience outside the familiar. A private session gives you the freedom to explore this curiosity in your own way, without needing any previous experience or knowing exactly what you are looking for.
Experience yourself anew
Step outside the familiar and encounter yourself differently. Kinbaku can be quiet and meditative, physically demanding, emotionally challenging or deeply sensual, opening sensations and emotions that may be difficult to access in everyday life.
Feel safe to explore
Explore without having to manage the technical side of your physical safety. You are in the hands of a highly experienced practitioner who works within your boundaries and remains attentive to your well being throughout the experience.
Surrender to the flow
Give yourself permission not to know what comes next. Let go of some control, allow yourself to be guided and discover where the encounter takes you.
Enjoy the beauty of rope
Experience the sensuality and aesthetics of Japanese Kinbaku through your own body. The texture of the rope, the forms it creates, movement, stillness and the visual beauty of being tied all become part of the experience.
Feel more alive
Slow down, reconnect with your body and become absorbed in what is happening in the moment. Many people leave feeling more present, more connected to themselves and more alive.

Curious what Kinbaku could feel like for you?
You don’t need any previous experience or a clear idea of what you want. Every session begins with a conversation about your curiosity, wishes and boundaries, and develops from there into an experience shaped around you.

Why experience
Kinbaku with Alexander?
Alexander brings more than fifteen years of Kinbaku practice to every encounter, combining technical mastery with careful attention, sensitivity and ethical integrity. Rather than following a script, he responds to the person in his ropes, allowing each experience to unfold through your reactions, communication and what emerges for you in the moment.
Sessions take place privately at Studio 6×6 in Berlin, a carefully designed space inspired by Japanese aesthetics and dedicated to rope, presence and exploration.
There is no right way to experience Kinbaku. Every encounter is unique.
Safety, consent and ethics
Trust is the foundation of every experience. Before any rope is unpacked, we take time to discuss your expectations, boundaries and any physical considerations. Communication remains open throughout, and you are always free to pause or stop.
With more than fifteen years of practice, Alexander combines technical expertise with a deep commitment to informed consent and physical and emotional safety.
Guided Kinbaku Experiences are artistic and embodied encounters. They are not therapy, sexual services or commercial BDSM sessions.
Questions & Answers
Do I need previous experience?
No. Many guests experience Kinbaku for the first time during these sessions. You do not need to know anything about rope or have a clear idea of what you want to explore. Curiosity is enough.
What happens during a session?
Every session begins with a conversation about your curiosity, wishes, boundaries and any physical considerations we should know about. There is no fixed programme. From there, the experience develops naturally in response to you and what emerges in the moment.
Will I be suspended?
Possibly, but suspension is never a goal in itself. What we explore depends on your experience, wishes, body and how the session develops. A meaningful Kinbaku experience can happen entirely on the floor.
What should I wear?
Wear something comfortable that allows you to move freely and that you feel good in. We are happy to offer guidance before your session if you are unsure.
Where do the sessions take place?
Sessions take place at our private STUDIO 6×6 in Berlin, a carefully designed space inspired by Japanese aesthetics and dedicated to rope, learning and exploration.
Still curious?
How long does a session last? Can photographs be taken? Can I come with my partner? What if I feel nervous? Can I ask for something specific?
There are no silly questions. Just ask.
PIC BY ?
Alexander is an artist, internationally recognised Kinbaku educator and Aikido black belt. His lifelong fascination with Japanese culture and decades of martial arts practice shape his approach to movement, presence, touch and connection.
I have some years of experience in rope already, but being tied by Alexander was something different for me. I never had the feeling he was just doing some tie on me. He was really watching how I react and adapting to me. It felt very personal.
I am normally someone who needs to know what is happening and what comes next, so letting go is not exactly my talent 🙂 With Alexander I felt I didn't have to control everything. I could just follow him. This was probably the most special part for me.
I was quite nervous before because I had never done anything like this. But very quickly I felt I could trust Alexander and just see what happens. At some point I stopped thinking so much. It was intense but also strangely calming. I would definitely do it again.
